We created this blog to communicate with all of you
who are interested in Thrace and especially
in this historic and beautiful area
of Maronia,
The Balcony of the Aegean Sea.
The name "Petran Blog" is borrowed from the “Petran”
Guest House which is built in traditional architecture, at the top of the
village of Maronia just next to THE beautiful pine forest.
The view from the guest house is amazing!
Visitors can see the slopes with vineyards and olive groves of the
area and the rich valey. Also they can enjoy the
view of Thracian Sea, the island of Thassos to Mount Athos and the Rodopi
mountains.
We will make sure that everybody will feel welcome and enjoy a joyful and comfortable stay.
